Camera scans at actual size

ONE CAMERA / ONE PROFILE

A straighter image.
A measured lens.

Use a printed ChArUco board to measure lens distortion. Everything is processed on this device.

Calibration is optional. You can scan now and calibrate later. This setup only improves lens correction for this camera.

Prepare the board

Print at Actual size / 100%. Check the board measures 150 × 210 mm and each square measures 30 mm. Mount it completely flat on rigid backing. Use even light and no shiny cover.

Use your rear main camera at its default zoom. Keep the phone in the orientation you will use for scanning. Collect 15–25 sharp views: centre and edges of the frame, nearer and farther, and several tilts of about 15–35° around both axes. Keep the entire board visible.

The first analysis downloads the OpenCV library (about 11 MB).

0 / 15 minimum views

Hold still before adding each view. Move the phone between views; do not bend the board.
